We have an immediate opening for a service        technician to work in Ballwin, MO. Responsibilities

   
  •         Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and          accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.        
  •      
  •         Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service          work is required or recommended.        
  •      
  •         Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is          needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be          completed within the promised time.        
  •      
  •         Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.        
  •      
  •         Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and          local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA          Right-to-Know, etc.        
  •      
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  •      
  • Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
  •      
  • Documents all work performed on the repair order.
  •      
  •         Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned          by service manager.        
  •      
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  •      
  • Other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications

   
  •         Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving          violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3          years.        
  •      
  •         No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record within the          last 3 years (DUI/DWI).        
  •      
  •         Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work          authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in          the future.        
  •      
  •         Must have a current and valid MO State Emissions and Inspection          License.        
  •      
  • Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
  •      
  •         Previous work experience as a Chevy, Cadillac, or GM Service          Technician is a plus but not required.        
  •      
  • ASE certification a plus but not required.
