I had a great experience with my salesman, Murray Newton. He was fair and honest and made me feel very comfortable during my purchase. I drove 4 hours for my purchase and was very satisfied. I will say, however, I was dissatisfied with my experience in the financial office. In an attempt to encourage me to buy extended warranty, the financial representative made the future of my new car seem very dim. He referred to his office as the "room of debt" and told me that the service department was completely filled with $70,000 vehicles like the one I was purchasing. That all of the electronics on them were a nightmare and they costs thousands of dollars to fix. He made me feel like I was making a bad choice to even spend the money on the car if I didn't have an extended warranty. In the end, I bought the warranty because I felt like it was a good deal. However, it really took the excitement out of the new car purchase. I wanted to hear' " You are going to love this car! These things are amazing and so reliable." Instead I felt like I needed a warranty because I couldn't trust the vehicle. That was disappointing.

The staff was excellent I brought our truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. I explained to the staff that I was on a tight schedule. They entered the service order into the express service. When the staff recognized the service was not going to be as fast as requested, they explained the situation to me. Then, they arranged a ride home for me. Excellent!

I purchased rear splash guards from the Chevrolet website and had them delivered to Elco. When they arrived, I made an appointment to have them installed. My appointment was for 9:45 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025. The service advisor asked if I was leaving or waiting. I told him I was waiting. He said it shouldn't be too long. What they consider too long and what I consider too long has to be two different things. I did not leave the dealership until after 1:00 p.m. For something that simple to have taken that long is ridiculous!!!! Especially since I had an appointment! What was the point of making an appointment? On a better note, I appreciate the fact that there was coffee and snacks to be had. Oh.....the TV was not working or was not turned on. I would have appreciated it that worked then I could have tuned out the loud people talking on their cell phones.

I have been going here for a few years now and this is my first negative experience. First, it started with the service advisor contacting me trying to sell me on something I have already done on my truck, showing me they didn’t even care to look at the fluid before telling me I need it done. Second, they completely ignored my request on the second line and then acted dumb when I called him out on it. If it’s on the work order, it’s probably something important to the customer. Third, when I went to pickup my truck they asked me if I saw it outside which I replied “yes it’s in the lot across the street.” After I paid she handed me my keys and told me to have a nice day. I was fed up at this point and just walked across the entire lot to get to my truck. Thoughts that what porters were for, but I guess not. Finally, when I got to my truck it was covered in white paint flakes from another vehicle. I looked and all the cars around mine were covered too. I find it insane that no one noticed that and just left those cars there to be picked up knowing they were in worse shape than when they were dropped off. I usually have a positive experience here, not sure what happened but this is one of the worst overall experiences I’ve had at any dealership.

I had to wait 30 days to get a car under warranty. Once there it took a week to do the repair. I am happy with the repair, but on the oil change they did not reset the oil life and filter settings. I did, but what good is the meter if I can reset and have no idea if my oil was changed or not. When I came to pay, they know all my codes for GM points, I get emails weekly about them, no one told me I had to link cards and be prepared...........sometimes you know everything, but can do nothing. Other than that, everyone was nice, but kind of the same old dealer experience.

My appointment was for 8:45 AM. I waited for about 5-10 minutes before I was able to actually pull into the service center (due to a backlog of vehicles in the service center). Once I pulled in I spoke with the service center rep who told me it would take about an 1 & 1/2 - 2 hours to complete my scheduled items. 3 hours later, my oil change and tire rotation was completed. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my day off…

Very good experience. My salesman Garland was excellent. He called me the next day to see if I had any additional questions. I have never had any sales person do that before. The finance man was also very good. He explained everything and I did purchase some extended warranties and prepaid service. I had been to 3 other GM dealerships over the last 6 months and did not purchase at any of those. One of those was because all of their vehicles had hail damage and I did not want to purchase one with damage, even if it was repaired.

I had a scheduled service (engine oil change and tire rotation) at 9 am. Arrive at 8:45 am for the service. I waited for over 3 hours and got my car back 12. No one said sorry to me or explained why it took that long. This is not acceptable.

Garland and Elco were great to work with. I was coming from across the state, and they were willing to give me a good OTD quote on the trade-in along with the truck I wanted. Garland made no promises other than he would try to make it worth my drive. And worth it they did. When I arrived at the dealership, it was hassle-free and easy. I was impressed that they offered more money on my trade-in and more off the truck I wanted to purchase right away. Most dealerships would come down after negotiating for a bit, but I respected that they did it without the hassle of negotiating. It was a pretty easy experience overall, and I would recommend Elco to friends and family.

On 3/9/25, I made an appointment for an oil change and safety concern (brake check) for 4/17/25 at 10:30 AM. I received confirmation via email. I dropped my car off at 9 AM on 4/17/25–early as I have 3 small children and this is the time I had a ride available but with the understanding my appointment would be at 10:30 AM still. I said I was leaving as I didn’t want my kids to be a disruption in the waiting room but I would be back to pick it up, the service advisor confirmed my phone number and stated he would call me. To the dealer’s credit, I did ask if it would be possible to add an emissions test via phone call. This was not on my original appointment deck. My service advisor agreed. At 3:47 PM, I had not heard any update on my vehicle so I called the dealership at which I was told by not one but two representatives that not only was A. my vehicle was not ready but B. my service advisor was gone for the day and they had know idea why my car wasn’t ready and I’d have to call back tomorrow. I continued to question if something of concern came up or if the reason they had to keep it overnight was due to adding an emissions test (a process I’ve had completed elsewhere in ~15-30 minutes). They again said they had no idea and to call back tomorrow. This was upsetting to me as I have 3 young children, with all of their car seats in my vehicle that I had not planned for an overnight stay. Having made an appointment 3 weeks prior, I had no idea this meant to drop my vehicle off to not have anyone available to service it until the next day. This was never communicated to me. At 5:07 PM, I received a call from a different service advisor that they had found someone to stay late and had my vehicle finished. I appreciated that person finding someone to do the work, but I don’t understand how that is a favor to me as 1. My appointment was at 10:30 AM, 2. I was never given any updates throughout the day or 3. Told that there was a possibility of them keeping my car overnight. By the time the service advisor had called me, we were already gone for the evening for kids activities, had to borrow a vehicle and car seats from family to tote kids around and there would be no way for me to make it back to the dealership in time before they closed at 6 PM to pick up my vehicle. I understand things can go awry, places can get short staffed, however the lack of communication through this all is what is especially upsetting. There obviously is a process break down if your vehicle is locked in to one single service advisor and will not be touched if that person leaves or is unavailable to coordinate the work.

Certainly, someone noticed my car shakes while driving it, and the tire sensor is on. I forgot to mention it, but I thought a service technician would notice those and say something. I called to pay and talked to 2 people and asked them both to lock the keys in the car so that I could pick it up after hours. I was told there was a note on the ticket to do so. I went to pick it up; it took almost 45 minutes to find it, and it was virtually impossible to get into because a service truck was parked too close to it, and the keys were not in it.

We had to wait about two weeks for an appointment for our 2024 Equinox. Regular scheduled visit that came with purchase of the car. Our concern came about when we were unable to turn off our car. On Star told us to get it in to the dealership. We were told that we could bring our car in the evening before ( April 24 ) which we did for the April 25th appointment. At 5:45 pm on the day it was to be worked on we had not heard anything. I called and the women who answered the phone checked and said that car had not been looked at yet. I asked to speak to the work rep. It was stated that the electric teck had not been able to work on the car. It was suggested that we could pick up the car and bring it back again on Monday. We asked for a loaner car but none was available so we left car. Car was returned to our home Monday. Diagnosis....Couldn't determine why car would not turn off. My wife does not feel comfortable in this car since this undiagnosed car issue of not being able to turn the car off was not resolved. The lack of communication with us regarding the status of our car on the day that it was to be worked on does not speak well for ELCO service. This entire experience has left us with doubts about future interaction or purchases with ELCO. Bryan & Leslie Robb

First day went well meet Murray the salesman as I walked in the door. He showed me what I want and was knowledgeable about the Colorado ZR2. I decided to go through the purchasing process telling Murray all the way I was not going to make a final decision since I was also looking at a GMC at the same time. Before I knew it I had text and emails slinging saying I had access to the Sirius in the truck and on star again had not purchased the truck yet. Meet the finance manager and he went through the info no problem but again not ready to make my final decision. I thanked them both and told them I was still considering my options to include using my credit union since I had already allowed and was approved. They asked if they could do anything for me to sign today and I said no and thank you. They said they were both off the next fay but if I decided on the ZR2 the paperwork was ready. I decided to look at the GMC one more time and while at the GM deal ship I sent Murray a follow up text telling him I was thinking of going with the GMC and said I liked the exterior of the Chevy but the interior of the GMC and it had a HUD. The email response I received from Murray stated I should respect the time of the salesman more and chastised me for deciding to possibly go in another direction. I responded back and I’m happy to send all my text exchanges with Murray if you would like. What I expected to hear back from Murray was a description between his vehicle and the other I was looking at, but no what I got. Was someone chasing me over a possible change.

I have used this dealership since the "Don Essen Chevrolet" days, long before Elco. I have always been treated well by both sales and service. This visit I had what can be a very annoying problem, a phantom issue. For the two weeks prior my front passenger door did not "talk" to the power step, preventing it from lowering when you opened the door. The rear door connected with the step just fine. Unfortunately, when it went into the shop for its appointment it decided to work again, this despite not working when we dropped it off the night before. The good news is it is still working and at least we have reported the issue in case it happens again later. The bad news is the shop did not get an opportunity to determine why it lost contact in the first place.

The maintenance service was handled as expected, although I did ask for an estimate from the body shop for a door scratch I’d like to schedule for paint repair. I was told the body shop was too busy and I’d need to return sometime mid July or after for an estimate. Drew provided outstanding service during this maintenance visit! The oil change, tire rotation and transmission fluid change were completed without a problem. However, the tire sensor light was missed. Drew was quick to respond to this situation. He apologized for the inconvenience, then grabbed the necessary tool to evaluate the problem. He determined that the sensors needed to be replaced and offered to replace them immediately. Unfortunately, I did have the time for that maintenance. He gave me a price for replacement. In response to my Endurance warranty program question, Drew encouraged me to check to see if Endurance would cover tire sensor replacement. Drew and ELCO earned an excellent rating based on how Drew responded to what was missed! His attitude was above and beyond in providing professional yet sincere customer service in answering my questions and making sure the maintenance was done. This is the reason I continue to come across the river to have my vehicle serviced!

My experience was good only suggestion I have would be to improve your car preparation. I waited close to two hours after my appointment time for my SUV only to get it not to my satisfaction. I had a problem with my 2021 Colorado rear view camera failing to work sporadically for over a year but working in general. It completely stopped working in June 2025. I visited ELCO to find what was wrong. I have three main issues. First I was first told it would cost $192 to analyze the problem. After a short time in the waiting room I was then told the analytic cost had increased to $262. I had little choice at that point so said okay. (I should note that when the ticket was prepared I was told the original quoted amount that morning of $192 was all that would be charged.) Second,, the analytic assessment stated the camera needed replacement for $341 parts and labor. I initially declined and then called back and asked the camera be ordered. On 7/30/25 I scheduled camera replacement. I waited while the work was being done. After awhile I was told that not only was the camera bad, but that the wiring harness connecting it was also bad and needed to be replaced, and that one could be gotten from another dealer right away however it would cost another $190. I authorized the added cost as there was no alternative. The cost to replace the rear view camera and associated wiring harness was $568, plus the prior analytic cost to determine the problem was $192, total cost of $660. However, I don’t believe I needed a camera after all. Third, I was traveling from 7/31 thru 8/17/25. I had asked to save the old rear view camera for me which was done. Today I connected the original camera given to me and had been told was bad and in need of replacement. The old camera works just fine. Apparently the analytic review was simply wrong, it was not a bad camera but the wiring harness leading to the camera. I think the cost was more than double what the repair should have been. Fourth, why would Chevrolet use defective material such as a wiring harness that is clearly supposed to be exposed to the elements under the rear of a truck. It now seems obvious to me the reason my camera was intermittently failing was due to moisture or corrosion due a defective harness. The camera would work fine 99% of the time and only intermittently not work for the last 9 to 10 months before it finally stopped. It’s very disappointing Chevy didn’t acknowledge this and do something about it. I’m not posting this publicly, so ELCO has an opportunity to first reply to me.

The snarky remark I got was she couldn’t tell me that because if someone hit me then I could say it wasn’t safe. Well duh!! I only meant if the alert meant I shouldn’t drive with that light on.

I purchased a 2500 Silverado custom with 5500 miles. I asked if the car was new and answer was yes. After using the car for one week I found clear evidences that this car was used for somebody else. Lot of dog hair under the seat and couple children band aid. I was told this car was being used for service in the delearship and off course this is not the case. The service technician that I worked with was great was very helpful. However, I arrived at 7:05 and left at 9:20. I got an oil change tire rotation. That seems long to me considering I can get my oil changed at a Jiffy Lube for what would typically be less money and in 20 minutes. I also did mention I was in a time crunch so that seemed even more excessive.

The time I had to wait was way too long. I was there for an oil change, and it took 3 hours. I have had oil changes there before and it never took that long. I tried to go talk to the service advisor who checked me in after waiting for 2 hours and no body saying anything to me, but he was gone for a long time. I think the service advisor and whoever was working on my truck went to lunch and left me sitting there. I am not sure if I will ever take my truck back there for service again.

The first time I brought this car in, I was told that it was something other than the gas pump so they changed that and we were without a vehicle for a week. Thankfully, we were provided a loaner the second time that this happened. They finally came to the conclusion that it was the gas pump, but they had it on backorder. I was without my my Vehicle for several weeks. They supposedly put a new gas pump in and finally returned us our vehicle only to see that the check engine lights back on and it appears to be none other than the gas pump. It appears that no gas pump was changed out and they closed this out just to get us Moved through the system. What on earth is going on here???

Very frustrating. The service rep, Scott, has no service experience . The vehicle appointment was for early in the morning I called for an update in the afternoon and was told they had to order a tire. Right before close, I called for and update and was told they ordered the wrong tire! So it took two days to get a flat tire fixed! The service rep Scott has no customer service skills! Scott lacks any communication skills, When Scott did speak he was very condescending! I will not be dealing with Scott again. The rest of the staff was good. Scott should be moved to a position out of the public eye!

Everything about this experience was FIRST CLASS! My advisor, Casey Drese, was a fantastic guide through the service process, communicating what was needed exactly when it was needed (extra points for working with my work schedule and using the text options to get info to and from faster!). I was treated like a valued customer upon arrival, by Curtis and Trent and the rest of the team. The loaner unit I was provided was excellent and very much appreciated. The mechanic I was given - Big John - clearly knows his stuff very well and had my motor issues remedied quickly, and he walked me through the issues and resolution in terms even I can understand (this can be a rare gift for very skilled, technical craftspeople, to be able very effective communicators). Pickup and close-out was a breeze - just a signature to authorize warranty coverage, then keys in hand and out the door. Cannot say enough good about this experience. This could have been a very costly repair ($2100 just in diagnostics!) but Casey took that anxiety away with good knowledge and pursuit of warranty claims. 10/10 Elco gets my business again and again! Aside, this is not my first experience with the Elco service team. I had an aftermarket starter installed and they were amazing to work with them, too. Their streak of excellent continues!!

I had a check engine light (CEL) come on, a code P0024 per OReilly AUTO. My owners manual said to get the vehicle to the selling dealer as soon as the CEL comes on. I dropped the vehicle on a Tuesday evening 11/4/25 with an overnight ticket explaining. Received a text the next morning stating the vehicle would be ready by end of say 11/5/25. I phoned and left voice mail on Th 11/6, Fr 11/7, Mon 11/10, asking for a reply call and update. The woman passing me to voicemail told me I needed to speak with my service manager as she put to voice mail as he was not available for any my call times/days. I left a similar voice messsge on Th 11/13 asking for an update. On Fr 11/14 , 9 days later, I received a call stating the failed part had been completed. When I picked up the vehicle I asked why none returned any of my voice message for the last week and a half. The service manager stated he failed to receive any messages except the one the day before calling me. When I asked about the text message saying the vehicle would be ready on 11/5 he stated he has nothing to do with those messages. Bottom line a week and a half to get a minor valve that’s easily replaced, replaced, with no communication from Elco during that period seff sf pits numerous calls and voice messages. The service manager did state ELCO is having problems with their new systems. PS: ELCO reportedly had the same computer and/or voicemail issues when I had my vehicle in for service in August 2025 with a different manager stating computer problems and not getting my voicemail. not getting my voicemail. Return calls and updates were either nonexistent

Communicating with your staff is quite challenging. I called my service rep - Eric 2 times without answer also texted him with no response. Additionally I was given false information when scheduling my appointment with Carol, I was told my car would get looked at and be done by 5pm according to your tracking system when in reality it did not even get looked at and would not be looked at until the following week. Overall would not go back. I called the mainline and spoke rot someone who was finally able to give me an update that my vehicle has been untouched. I’m a bit disappointed in their communications and customer service. I also leased a Cadillac from them which is coming to terms in 12 months and will definitely not being going back through them.

I loved the service that I received for my SUV repair. Everyone was so nice and friendly, except for the cashier that checked me out. After looking at the numbers in the email I received, I realized I didn’t need that coverage for the cost and had it canceled the next day.
